Singtel Dash Hong Bao Draw and Win $88 Dash Credit.

Singtel Dash is having a Dash Hong Bao Draw with sure-win prizes of up to $888 Dash credit and WATSON is having 10% Cashback on Watsons’ 20% storewide sale this weekend from 13 Jan to 15 Jan 17. Today I go to WATSON and buy a $39 product to enjoy the 20% discount and at the same time using the SIngtel Dash to pay for the product so as to enjoy additional 10% discount plus Hong Bao Draw. I am lucky that I have won $88 Dash credit.

POSB and DBS online Transaction Error

Quite a number of times when I use the POSB or DBS credit or debit card doing online transaction will encounter error.

After receiving the OTP from the DBS and enter the OTP, the system started to wait for 3dsg.dbs.com for the verification. Most of the time there will be time out and the transaction will not get through. However when I use other bank credit or debit card, no error will encounter.

I have reported the incident to the bank but this online transaction error still not solved.

The Cost of Using Novena Surgery Pte Ltd

Recently my children had a bad toothache. We had brought her to National Dental Centre and second opinion on private paediatric dentistry, both of them indicated that my children need to remove at least 5 tooth. However the National Dental Centre charge me more than S$6000 without subsidiary and the private paediatric dentistry was S$4500. This is because my children need to undergo general anaesthesia.

In the morning, my children had fasted for more than 10 hours and went to Novena Surgery Pte Ltd for the one hour operation. After the one hour operation, the bill came to me and it costed S$1867.95 for using the one hour facilities and anaesthetist.

How Long it Take for Insurance Claim to Credit into CPF

There is no standard of service in the CPF to credit the insurance claim into the owner CPF medisave account. Recently there were 2 cases happened to my mother. First one is on Sep 16 when the insurance company had issue a claim payment to my mother CPF medisave account. Waiting for 3 weeks and checked online and the money was not in until I send an  email to CPF then it immediately credit in.

Second occasion was happened in 1st November when the same insurance company had issue a claim payment to my mother medisave account. However after waiting for 4 weeks, the money still not in until I wrote the email to the CPF. Immediately on the same day that i wrote the email, the money was credited in.

I wonder is it the standard operating procedure in the CPF that we need to write email to them to enquiry then they take action. If not how long will the CPF need to take to do the process.

I have asked the question on how long the CPF need to take to process the claim credit but till now no reply from them.

However the above 2 cases already clearly indicate that the service standard by the CPF is only on paper only.

Personal Accident that Allow to Renewable Yearly for Life

Most of the Personal Accident Insurance in Singapore only for applicant below 70 years old and renewable to 75 years old. After 75 years old there will be no more personal accident insurance coverage for the elderly. Singapore’s life expectancy at birth has reached 82.4 years in 2013. Meaning there is about 8 years no coverage for the elderly and this is the age that the elderly need more personal accident insurance.

Luckily there is one Personal Accident Insurance issue by NTUC income to protect the elderly - SilverCare Insurance

The eligibility is below age 75 and able to renewable yearly for life.

My mother had a fall in May 2016 and caused fracture right colles. She was able to claim for the medical expenses under this SilverCare Insurance.

No More Free Refreshment aka Food in SPH Annual General Meeting 2016
