NTUC Incomeshield Appeal Result

One week later, I received a letter from NTUC Income

INCOMESHIELD - DECLARATION OF HEALTH CONDITION

Thank you for providing us the additional information on your health status/medical history.
The policy as issued earlier without above information.

We are pleased to inform that we are agreeable to remove the exclusion DISORDERS OF THE HEART imposed on the above mentioned policy. Please refer to enclosed endorsement for details.

After received this letter, I am happy that NTUC Income finally agree on the removal of the exclusion. However the exclusion had made me worry for years. Will it be better that the echocardiogram be done first to confirm the seriousness of the MVP before adding the exclusion in the policy? Is the insurance agent that sell the policy to me did not take the initiative do a good job? Is it no one wanted to bear the cost of medical check ($321/-)? Should the insurance agent pay for my bill as they are earning commission annually from my medical plan?
If I did not appeal then forever I will not be sufficient cover. Quite disappointed with the agent and the insurance company without taking the initiative and give their best services to the customer.
